• Everyone deserves the security and opportunity that comes with meaningful work. Refugees who have been granted refugee status or Humanitarian Protection have the right to work freely in any sector, allowing them to contribute and rebuild their lives.
• For asylum seekers, work is restricted until their claim has been pending for over 12 months, and even then, opportunities are limited to jobs on the Shortage Occupation List.
